Hi there. I noticed your blog in the links on our dashboard today, so I came to take a look.

Your photographs are beautiful. I love this tree. I was recently talking about how the trunk of trees seem to deepen almost to black in the fall and winter. I wasn't sure if that was only certain trees. I notice it in cottonwoods, especially. Yet this tree has a similar thing going.

Looking forward to checking out more deeply your words and photos.
