There is an internal battle flailing within my chest, which is bound up tight with both anger and angst. We received an offer on the lake house the day before Thanksgiving. Negotiations are ensuing because it is what we have to do. There are no threads of happiness to be found just now, and the only words I have are whining words. So, I will be silent for a bit. Silent and journaling (on real paper with real pen) and considering my own next steps. I'll return to post when inspiration of any sort hits me but for now please know that I will be reading your blogs, delighting in your adventures, reveling in your sightings, and sighing at your photography. Take care, my bloggy friends.

My thoughts are with you in this painful process. May there be a shining door of bright light on the other side for you.

A burning in that sky... peace and beauty.

I love silence and sometimes that is the best answer. A doctor once told me, "you always know the answer... it's there, deep down inside... just let it happen."

Your words tug at my heart. Letting go . . . having to let go . . . it could come to any of us. I imagine something happening to lift you high in spirit and into expanding possibilities. Enjoy your journaling and quiet time. Thinking of you.

This is a beautiful photograph. After reading your post and listening to the first song that came on, Black River by Amos Lee it seemed to be a perfectly fitting song for how you might be feeling, sometimes we need to let Him take our cares away. :)

Oh Debi...you're selling this beautiful place? I hope for an outcome that brings you peacefulness, not angst...

Oh how I wish we were in a position to make you a lovely offer. One of my dreams is to have a house on one of the lakes here (Guntersville or Wheeler). I love going to Ditto Landing because is it so close, but would love a lake house. Ah, well.

Your beautiful photos are an expression of love. Thank you for sharing them.
